Becoming
a member of CUMC is a simple process. Upon your decision to join we will arrange
the transfer of any previous church affiliations. For those who have never
been active church members (and even those who have) we offer periodic "Come
and Discover" classes, a four-week series held during the Sunday School
hour that covers basic Christian beliefs, information about the United Methodist
Church, and details about opportunities at CUMC. These classes are not mandatory
for membership but can be very helpful in becoming a vital part of our faith
community.
The process of membership is simple and easy, however, being a part of any
Christian Church involves a commitment to serve Jesus Christ and grow as disciples.
It is both our mission and joy to help folks along that journey. For further
