Concord Caregivers

Several of our members have made themselves available to help other members in need of visitation, transportation, or running errands for those who are home bound. Please contact Catherine Nance for more information about Concord Caregivers.

Alzheimer's Group

West Knox Caregivers is a support group for caregivers, family members and friends of individuals affected by Alzheimer’s disease or other related dementias. The group is sponsored by the Eastern Tennessee Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association and meets the first Tuesday of every month in Room 219. Meetings are free of charge and begin at 6:30 p.m. For more information, call 671-2236 or 544-6288.

Moms' Group

Mom, are you looking for a place to find support and encouragement in a Christian environment? Do you feel the need to connect with other mothers who share the same values and beliefs? Are you searching for spiritual growth and renewal? Do you need time to slow down and look to God’s word for guidance in your busy Mom’s world? The Concord UMC Moms' Group is the place for you! We meet for 2 hours each Friday morning during the school year.

After fellowship and snacks, we focus on Bible study that relates to our lives as mothers, wives, and women, concluding with time for sharing concerns and prayer.

Join us from 9:15-11:15 a.m. for food, fellowship and fun. Childcare is provided. Additional information and registration brochures are available at the reception desk. Please call Nancy Owens at 693-8027 if you have questions.
